6 – Free Science Thursday, 5 pm – 6 pm, Wingra Boats, Science Thursday is a FREE, family-friendly science and outdoor education series held at Wingra Boats Thursday evenings. Each week features a different presenter sharing an engaging environmental topic designed for all ages. This week, Henry Vilas Zoo will be leading the activities!

7 – First Friday:
* Music by the Water, 5 pm – 8 pm, Wingra Park, 824 Knickerbocker Street,
Madison, WI, look four our table at this event with a fun educational activity on stormwater and rain gardens.
* Orange Tree Imports is donating 20% of their sales to Friends of Lake Wingra from 5 pm – 7 pm

12 – FoLW Board Meeting, open to the public, 7 pm – 8 pm, Sequoya Library

20 – Free Science Thursday, 5 pm – 6 pm, Wingra Boats, Science Thursday is a FREE, family-friendly science and outdoor education series held at Wingra Boats Thursday evenings. Each week features a different presenter sharing an engaging environmental topic designed for all ages. This week, Friends of Lake Wingra will be leading the activities focused on Lake Wingra Life! We will have activities on the lake ecosystem, aquatic plants, native plants, and birds.

25 – Terrace Rain Garden Workshop, 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm, meet at the NE corner of Tokay Blvd. and Toepfer Ave (map). Learn all about terrace rain gardens at this walking workshop.
