Earth Week: Prospect Garden Prairie Party

Join us as we help to prepare the Prospect Garden Prairie planting for the upcoming season!  This garden is managed by Jake Blasczyk and is one of a network of beautiful gardens maintained by Friends of the Southwest Bike Path.  Tools, gloves and refreshments will be provided.  Possible tasks include removing invasive plants, digging, planting, raking, etc.

Prospect Gardens surround the Prospect Street ramps to the Southwest Path.  These ramps are the second set west of Camp Randall; approximately a quarter of a mile from Camp Randall.  By car the gardens are at the curve of South Prospect and Fox Avenue; two blocks off of Monroe Street and where South Prospect curves into Fox.
