4:30-7:00pm September 14, 2014 Vilas Park Shelter by Lake Wingra
Come share your stories and experiences of this unique body of water
at a community celebration and information exchange. Everyday
thousands of people enjoy Lake Wingra and “measure” the lake through
ordinary physical activities such as running, biking, swimming, and
fishing. Come meet lake experts and advocates and other lovers of the
lake. Share your stories for a future audio art project about the
lake. Take a souvenir water bottle and enjoy the lake. A project by
Michael Peterson. Measures of the Lakeis a BLINK temporary public art
project funded by the Madison Arts Commission.
